La Lonja, (Map) The Old Fishermens district is located by the harbour, la Lonja de Pescadores. Where in ancient times fish was brought to land and prices negotiated, rewarding outgoing life cannot be far. La Lonja is the area to walk through narrow pintoresque streets, with restaurants, tappas and clubs rowed one next to another and choose the place to be for dinner and afterwards. La Lonja is most interesting to visit after 20:00h.
Santa Catalina, (Map) is like a village in the middle of Palma, with its own trendy atmosphere. Its a great place to visit in daytime, with many cafes, bakeries, shops and outdoor terraces, as well as The Santa Catalina market, which offers finger food, tapas and Sushi, yet also great for going out at night, with a great variety of national and international restaurants, ranging from asian to italian, mallorquin to Sweedish. Santa Catalina is atractive to visit during day and night.
Paseo Mallorca (Map) more known as an exquisite residential area has developped some outstanding places to go for lunch/dinner/tapas. It is close to the golden mile shopping areas Es Born and Jaime. The restaurants are mainly located on the right side of Passeig Sagrera as you walk up the channel.
